Huddersfield went against many pundits predictions last season by staying in the Premier League, some late key results seeing them finish four points above the relegation places. This season, and nine matches in, David Wagner and the Terriers once again find themselves at the wrong end of the table. They currently sit nineteenth on 3 points, one point above Newcastle at the bottom.
Although still early in the season Huddersfield will be keen to start securing some important wins after facing many of the top teams so far. Although suffering two early heavy losses to Chelsea and Manchester City, Huddersfield have tightened up, and secured three hard earned points in draws against Everton, Cardiff and Burnley. Their last match against Liverpool very nearly secured them their fourth point of the season as they were lucky not to come away from the match with something.
