Leicester still harbour hopes of challenging for the title after that amazing Premier League title win under Ranieri in 2015-16, but currently they sit 11th with 12 points. Leicester are one of only three teams not draw this season, with 4 wins and 5 defeats so far. Claude Puel continues to receive mixed reviews and the up and down results of the Foxes does nothing to quell this.
Leicester were unlucky to lose the season opener away at Old Trafford, and then followed up with an excellent win at home to Wolves, before winning away at Southampton. Another unlucky defeat at home to Liverpool was followed by a convincing defeat to surprise side Bournemouth, but then wins against strugglers Huddersfield and Newcastle lifted the mood at the King Power. Defeat to a confident Arsenal side last time out was not unexpected but Leicester will need to be more consistent if they want to challenge for European qualification again.
