Arsenal have drawn 4 consecutive Premier League matches, a run which has left them occupying 10th place in the table, ten points behind London rivals Chelsea in 4th place. Their fans are hungry for success of course, but the realists amongst them are looking at this season as a time to stabilise under Mikel Arteta’s leadership. Arteta added a couple of faces to his squad during January - defenders Cedric Soares from Southampton, and former Manchester City player Pablo Mori. It’s clear that the manager has identified the areas that need strengthening. Home games against a couple of the teams around them - Newcastle and Everton - are on the horizon, and a late push for 5th place isn’t out of the question, neither is a decent run in the latter stages of Europa League, with Olympiakos visiting the Emirates in a couple of weeks.
